This Friday, May 23, 2014 from 7:30 – 11:00 PM, Misael Soto & Jacqueline Falcone present a very special site specific happening titled “T.S.S.O.B.F.” by Los Angeles based artist Kenton Parker. This interactive space, inside a cozy blanket fort, is where visitors can not only engage in magical moments with each other, but also interact with the artist himself, in a secret hideout reminiscent of childhood clubhouses.

As an extension of Misael Soto and Jacqueline Falcone’s Untitled (exhibition), 2014, T.S.S.O.B.F is removed far from the artists’ piece, which is placed at the front of the Young at Art Museum. In the fast-paced, ever-changing world of an adult, the blanket fort acts as safe haven, a place to hide and revert to innocence. However, given its transient, transformative nature, it is as dynamic as the works of Untitled (exhibition) 2014, creating a dialogue with the piece’s overall theme of impermanence and intervention.
